Towards the Consideration of Future Development Plans and Proposals
The General Board of Shareholders of Al-Wataniya Private Company for Science and Development held the final annual meeting for the academic year 2022-2023 at the Central Amphitheater within Al-Wataniya Private University, chaired by Mr. Samir Al- Barazi, chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Wataniya Private Company for Science and Development, in the presence of Eng. Ahmed Fadel, vice president of Al-Wataniya Company, Osama Al-Ghazi, auditor of Al-Wataniya Company, Mr. Hayyan Asad Al-Bakri, director of the office of Al-Wataniya Company for Science and Development, along with Prof.Dr. Ahed Khuzam, president of Al-Wataniya Private University, his deputy for scientific affairs, Dr. Hazem Melli, and Mr. Mohammed Al-Mubarak, financial director at Al-Wataniya Private University, in the presence of a number of members of the Board of Trustees at Al-Wataniya Private University and members of the Board of Directors of Al-Wataniya Private Company for Science and Development at Al-Wataniya Private University and members of the Board of Directors of Al-Wataniya Private Company for Science and Development .
The chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Wataniya Company for Science and Development , Mr. Samir Al-Barazi, presented a detailed report on the financial year starting from 1/9/2022 to 31/8/2023, starting the meeting by talking about the increase in the number of students admitted to Al-Wataniya Private University this academic year ( freshmen and scholarship students accepted by the Ministry of Higher Education and the number of graduates from various tuition payments distributed to the faculties of the University). Mr. Samir Al-Barazi praised the University’s continuous efforts towards securing distinguished cadres to achieve its goals and its permanent work on rationalizing recruitment to administrative and service functions and activating the role of academic guidance in an effort to prevent waste and achieve savings in services.
Mr. Samir Al-Barazi also spoke about the most important strategic projects that were implemented during the previous academic year , the most important of which are the completion of the clinics building and equipping it with all the necessary medical tools and devices for the educational process , the opening of the new Central Restaurant building and the start of the actual use of classrooms at the beginning of the next academic year, in addition to achieving a significant development in the construction of the Pharmacy building, which requires uniting efforts and cooperative work between Al-Wataniya Private University, Shareholders, Al-Wataniya Company for Science and Development and all working cadres in order to implement the University’s plans seeking development .
On the other hand , the annual meeting between Al-Wataniya Company for Science and Development and Shareholders discussed the most important proposals put forward to develop future plans , such as continuing to complete buildings according to priority and urgent need for them , and the annual report discussed all financial details, estimated budgets and final accounts of imports and expenditures this year, where Mr. Samir Al-Barazi explained Al-Wataniya University’s interest in social solidarity by providing grants to those coming from the Islamic Charity for Orphan Sponsorship and Welfare Works in Hama to contribute to Al-Wataniya Company and a number of assistance provided to support students in need fulfilling the conditions of the Student Support Fund.
At the end of the General Assembly meeting, the Board of Directors of Al-Wataniya Company put forward valuable development proposals aimed at achieving the greatest possible benefit for the University and students by employing logistical and human capabilities to achieve the desired goals and continuing work on the path of development and modernization.
