With extensive participation on the part of the University students, the Syrian Students’ National Union branch at Alwataniya Private University, sports office, organized a charity Swimming Marathon in Kefarbo Resort on Thursday 25th July 2024
The event was held last week and it was attended by the University Vice-President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Hazem Melli, the University Vice-President for Administrative and Students’ Affairs, Dr. Hayyan Hamdan, the Resort Manager, Mr. Wajih Fadel and the Head of the Syrian Students’ National Union Branch at the University, Mohammad Ahmad Khalil.
The Marathon was characterized with a remarkable competitive spirit among all contestants of which three were hailed winners. Student Saied Hadllah was the first to complete the swimming race. Student Fahed Alddurrah came second while student Abed Alrazzak Alteesh ranked third in the competition.
This event is considered one of the recreational and educational initiatives that aim at motivating students and encouraging them to take part in the activities that are organized by the Students’ Union branch at the University.
