In continuation of Al-Wataniya Private University’s continuous approach to attracting all new and qualitative contemporary scientific issues , Al-Wataniya Private University hosted on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 a unique scientific seminar on earthquakes and volcanoes and their relationship with the four cosmic forces under the title (A Cognitive Journey from Quarks to Quasars) prepared and presented by Dr. Qaher Abu Al-Jadayel / PhD in Atomic Energy and nuclear physics, Researcher in the four cosmic natural forces /.
In his lecture, Dr. Qaher Abu Al-Jadayel addressed several diverse topics (the origin of the universe according to the Big Bang Theory , the emergence of the four cosmic natural forces and the cosmic constants , the formation of planets , stars , galaxies and celestial bodies , the planet Earth and its evolution , the formation of plates and superplates , the phenomenon of earthquakes and volcanoes, environmental and climatic changes on the planet, the influence of the sun and its nuclear activity, cosmic rays and planets on Earth, nuclear energy and its future prospects, and the end of the existence of multiple cosmic civilizations and the concept of the scale of civilization).
In the official presence of the president of Al-Wataniya Private University, Prof. Dr. Ahed Khuzam, his deputy for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Hazem Melli, the dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Abdulkader Al-Jundi, a number of teachers and doctors of the Faculty of Engineering, Abdulkarim Al-Nasaan, the president of the Branch of Al-Wataniya Private University of the National Union of Syrian Students, and a number of administrative and educational cadres .
Dr. Qaher Abu Al-Jadayel began his lecture by talking about a number of theories of the origin of the Universe, explaining the difference between them and pointing to a number of factors and variables that affect the planet, whether simple or great, such as the gravity of the moon, the radial activity of the sun, the movement of the planets, in addition to the consumption of fossil fuels and its unfair depletion, which prompted countries and scientific institutions to offer alternatives and sustainable energies as scientists continue to try to find a way out of this potential disaster.
As for the current situation we are living today among the possibilities of other earthquakes in the Arab Region and in particular in our country Syria, explained Dr. Al-Jadayel that as for the main reason for the occurrence of earthquakes is that the Arab Region is characterized by a special geographical nature and the probability of an earthquake depends heavily on the nature of the region and its faults, the oldness faults, the difference in their nature and depth, and several other variables that cannot be counted today and need monitoring and deep analytical study of reality.
The scientific lecture comes in response to the students ‘ need to increase their knowledge and learn about the developments and changes on the planet and their implications on the ground, especially after the Turkey / Syria Earthquake, which hit the two countries on February 6 this year and claimed thousands of victims, which in turn revealed the need for people to research and see the most important accurate scientific data that enable them to understand the current reality.
