The College of Engineering at Al- Wataniya Private University witnessed on Monday, July 31, 2023, a discussion of graduation projects for the second semester of the academic year 2022-2023 for the departments of Telecommunications and Computer Science. The discussion continued until Wednesday, August 2, 2023, under the sponsorship and attendance of the President of Al-Wataniya Private University, Prof. Dr. Ahed Khuzam, and his deputy for scientific affairs, Dr. Hazem Melli. It was supervised by the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Abdulkader Al-Jundi, and the Head of the Telecommunications Engineering Department, Professor Dr. Thaer Dawood, and Dr. Ammar Rimaawi, Head of the Computer Science Department.
The students presented their scientific research and experimental experiences before esteemed arbitration committees that included many specialized doctors and professors from both departments. They provided scientific feedback and highlighted the strengths and weaknesses of various graduation projects, emphasizing important points that students should avoid or work on improving to achieve better results.
The arbitration committees in the Communications Engineering Department consisted of (Prof.Dr.Thaer Dawood – Dr. Ghazwan Ria – Dr. Abdulkarim Al-Salem – Dr. Abdulmouen Alrifai – Dr. Mahmoud Ayoub), while those in the Computer Science Department consisted of (Dr. Ammar Rimaawi – Dr. Ammar Zaqzouq – Dr. Ahmed Al-Abdou – Dr. Tareq Al-Nasouri – Dr. Ali Dhiab – Dr. Hani Al-Khatib – Dr. Ahmed Al-Kurdi – Dr.Muhammed Al-Muhammed –Dr.Waseem Ramadan –Dr.Samar Al-Halabi).
In the same context, the scientific discussion included various research topics that impressed attendees with their innovative ideas and modern approach in presenting scientific issues.
The President of Al-Wataniya Private University, Prof. Dr. Ahed Khuzam, praised the efforts made by the College’s deanship and department heads, who are working on graduating diverse competencies characterized by quality and excellence. These competencies are now fully prepared to enter the profession confidently and prove their worth in the field.
Finally, the students were able to summarize all the theoretical and practical knowledge they acquired during their years of study at the college and present them in valuable research papers with the following titles:
