A Friendly Meeting Brings Together the President of Al-Wataniya Private University, Prof. Dr. Ahed Khuzam, and the President of Al-Shahbaa Private University
Prof. Dr. Ahd Khuzam, the President of Al-Wataniya Private University, met with Prof.Dr. Iqbal Al-Musharref, the President of Al-Shahbaa Private University, on Monday, August 7th, 2023, in an official visit to Al-Shahbaa Private University.
The purpose of this friendly meeting was to enhance scientific and cultural cooperation between the two universities, which requires developing academic programs through exchange visits between members and professors of both universities in order to exchange information and experiences in higher education. The two parties discussed the possibility of conducting joint scientific research and purposeful activities including conferences, seminars, and training workshops within the framework of formulating academic and educational plans that benefit the educational reality in both universities.
This visit is a practical step towards implementing joint scientific programs stipulated in the agreement of scientific and cultural cooperation between the two universities, which was signed earlier in the current academic year. According to this agreement, both sides are committed to providing all support and facilitations for implementing academic plans and working towards achieving and developing educational objectives.
This meeting comes as a continuation of Al-Wataniya Private University’s plans to activate cooperative relations with all Syrian private and government universities alike. Prof. Dr. Ahed Khuzam has been working on enhancing these relations during his official visit to Al-Shahbaa Private University where he was received by Vice President Prof. Dr. Omar Ismail and University Secretary Dr. Sobhi Al-Sheikha as a step towards strengthening scientific cooperation between the two universities.
