Scientific Discussion on the Graduation Projects of the First Batch of Pharmacy Faculty Students
High-Quality and Knowledgeable Scientific Research
Looking towards graduating a diverse generation of young talents, Al-Wataniya Private University witnessed on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 the discussion of graduation projects for the first batch of students from the College of Pharmacy for the academic year 2022-2023.
This event was held under the generous sponsorship of the President of Al-Wataniya Private University, Prof. Dr. Ahed Khuzam, and his deputy for scientific affairs, Dr. Hazem Melli, with supervision from the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Shuaib Al-Ahmad, and continuous support from members of the National Union of Syrian Students – Al-Wataniya Private University Branch – led by colleague Abdulkarim Al-Naasan.
The students of the College of Pharmacy presented the results of their scientific research in consecutive discussion sessions, which were the result of years of continuous effort. During this time, the college administration worked in cooperation with university leadership to provide all means and resources to enhance students’ practical skills by reinforcing their academic knowledge and developing their practical aspects through laboratory training or professional experience in real-world settings outside the university.
In a related context, the discussion continued for two consecutive days in the presence of deans from various colleges and a number of administrative and educational staff. The discussion was supervised by a distinguished arbitration committee composed of several faculty doctors (Dr. Shuaib Al-Ahmad, Dr. Talal Al-Daher, Dr. Abdulkarim Mughmomeh, Dr. Talla Melli, Dr. Hama Tellawi, Dr. Hisham Haddad, Dr. Yumen Hilal, Dr. Haifa Al-Ali , Dr. Ruaa Al-Kayali , Dr.Ghalya Al-Sabbagh ,Dr.Hani Salim ,Dr.M. Firas Mannaa), who gave full attention to students and supervised their scientific research within a well-studied and organized scientific framework.
Mental readiness and knowledge proficiency drew attention during the scientific discussion of graduation projects, which shed light on the amount of effort exerted by Al-Wataniya Private University in building expert pharmacists who possess quality and practical knowledge to practice their profession, which fundamentally aims at healing and serving humanity.
