الملخص

لقد تطورت اتجاهات تصميم المستشفيات عموماً وأجنحة الإقامة خصوصاً بمرور الوقت لتعكس التغيرات العميقة في الرعاية الصحية سواء بالتكنولوجيا الطبية المتقدمة أو بالتغييرات بمرافق ووظائف المشفى أو بالمفاهيم التصميمية الجديدة. تستكشف هذه الورقة الاتجاهات المعاصرة في تصميم أجنحة الإقامة بالمشافي من خلال مقارنة بين الأساليب التصميمية القديمة والتي لاتزال مستخدمة لوقتنا الحاضر من قبل المهندسين والمدرسين وأصحاب القرار في بناء المشافي والتحولات الجديدة التي تعكس التغييرات الحاصلة والمتجهة نحو خلق بيئات تدعم الصحة والرفاهية وتدمج التقنيات المبتكرة والممارسات المستدامة في تصميم المشافي، كذلك تسلط الضوء على واقع أجنحة الإقامة بالمشافي المحلية والعالمية لمواكبة التطور الحاصل في تصميم هذا القسم ، علماً إن الاتجاه الحديث لتصميم المشافي يعتمد على التصميم القائم على التجربة والبرهان لتحقيق نوعية خدمة أفضل للمرضى، والسعي الرئيسي لمهندسي هذا العصر هو الوصول لمشفى مستقبلي يدمج حقيقة العلم وجودة الإنسانية وجمال الفن.
