Removable Prosthodontics Laboratory

An applied educational laboratory that helps students of the Faculty of Dentistry acquire the essential laboratory skills related to the fabrication of removable partial dental prostheses and the handling of dental stone casts.

Laboratory Instruments

  • Upper and lower partially edentulous dental stone casts.
  • Red baseplate wax and cold-cure acrylic resin, including powder and liquid components.
  • Yellow dental stone, articulators, and artificial teeth for arrangement.

Available Equipment

The laboratory contains twenty micromotor units, in addition to four reserve units. Each unit is equipped with a straight handpiece for use in practical training on the required laboratory stages.

Micromotor units equipped with straight handpieces are used to complete the laboratory stages required for fabricating removable partial dental prostheses, helping students understand the workflow and perform it in an organized manner.
