The Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning at Al-Wataniya Private University discussed its students’ graduation projects for the second semester of 2021-2022 in the presence of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ahd Khuzam, his Vice for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Hazem Melli, and the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning, Dr. Safwat Ibrahim Pasha, and in the presence of the guests – the deans of the faculties.  Dr. Abdulqader Al-Jundi, Dean of the College of Engineering, and Dr. Shuaib Al-Ahmad, Dean of the College of Pharmacy.

The Dean of the College of Architecture and Urban Planning, Dr. Safwat Ibrahim Pasha, welcomed the honorable attendees, the arbitration committees, and the students’ parents, and wished the students continued excellence and success, announcing the start of the discussion sessions on graduation projects that  began under the supervision of a jury of specialized doctors and professors, and in the presence of the head of the Syrian Students Union Branch at Al-Wataniya Private University, Abdulkarim Al-Naasan, and a number of members of the Educational and Administrative Bodies at Al-Wataniya Private University.

The scientific subjects presented varied in their subjects and methods of presentation, and the students were successively presented and discussed their projects based on accurate scientific and research foundations in presenting their ideas that were characterized by modernity and uniqueness due to the richness and enrichment of knowledge they contained.

The importance of the presented projects was evident as they are the first steps for students towards accurate scientific research and the application of most of their knowledge and experiences gained during their academic years in scientific projects based on experience and hard work, and the doors of practical life will be opened for them one door after another.

This was confirmed by the Dean of the College of Architecture and Urban Planning, Dr. Safwat Ibrahim Pasha, by saying: “The graduate projects of architecture students represent a great scientific and cognitive value for the University, as the student acquires during his studies at the College all the knowledge and experiences necessary for him and then begins the process of the actual application of these knowledge, and we strive  with our Educational, Technical and Administrative Cadres to create the appropriate atmosphere for students and provide all possible means and equipment for them to start their career later.”

Dr. Safwat Ibrahim Pasha praised the efforts that are  made by Al-Wataniya University of its Deanship and its Technical, Administrative and Teaching Cadres for their giving and appreciation for the work done, noting that it is a forerunner in pushing students towards the path of science, motivating them and refining their practical experiences in all faculties, especially in the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning, believing in it.  The importance of graduating students with moral ideas, bright minds and inexhaustible.
