The Language Center at Al-Wataniya Private University plays an important academic and organizational role in overseeing general and specialized English language courses, and in supporting language-related aspects connected to teaching, testing, translation, and official English-language transactions within the University.

Overview of the Center
The Language Center at Al-Wataniya Private University organizes and follows up on aspects related to English language courses, whether by selecting appropriate curricula, coordinating the provision of university textbooks, or assigning instructors to courses and faculties.
The Center also contributes to supporting the quality of the educational process for English language courses by standardizing the required academic material in courses shared among faculties, and by standardizing the general format of examinations and the pattern of exam questions.

Main Duties of the Language Center
The Center’s duties include a range of academic, organizational, and language-related aspects that support the educational process at the University and serve the various faculties and directorates according to their needs.
Selection of Specialized Personnel
Conducting interviews to select English language instructors and staff for the University’s various directorates, in line with the nature of the required duties.
Curriculum Selection
Selecting curricula for general and specialized English language courses, in a way that serves the nature of the courses and the needs of the various faculties.
Provision of University Textbooks
Coordinating the provision of university textbooks for language courses, thereby helping to organize the educational process and provide students with the approved material.
Assignment of Instructors
Assigning instructors to courses and faculties, ensuring the organization of the teaching process and linking teaching personnel to the appropriate courses.
Quality of the Educational Process
Supervising the quality of English language courses by standardizing the academic material in shared courses and standardizing the general format of examinations and the pattern of questions.
Placement Tests
Conducting placement tests for newly admitted students, in addition to placement examinations for students wishing to obtain a language proficiency certificate.
English-Language Transactions
Completing paper transactions required in English, such as experience certificates, letters of recommendation, contract translations, and documents required to be issued in English.
Translation in Scientific Events
Providing translation services during conferences and scientific seminars held at the University, thereby supporting language communication in academic events.
