Abdulaziz Al-Awdah, a student at the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences at Al-Wataniya Private University, received a Certificate of Appreciation for his participation in a scientific research entitled “Cooling Nuclear Reactors -Third Generation” in the World Cup for Invention and Scientific Research in the Republic of Tunisia, which was held on the sidelines of the activities parallel to The Eighth Summit of the Tokyo International Symposium on  Development in Africa “TICAD8” on 1- 2/9/2022.

The World Cup for Invention and Scientific Research was launched in Tunisia under the  Supervision of Regulating Official Bodies ( Agency of  Promotion  Industry and Innovation Under the Supervision of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy) and in partnership with (Everest International for the Global Authority for Invention , Development and Investment in the United States of America  “GOIDI”) and in cooperation with  the National Agency for the Promotion of Scientific Research, and in Partnership with the National Institute for Standardization and Industrial Property and the Tunisian Association for Scientific Research, Innovation and Intellectual Property..

The participation of the Syrian Arab Republic met with a wide positive response, as the Prime Minister,  Mrs. Najla Boden Ramadan,  oversaw the opening of the International Salon for Invention, Research and Innovation “Tunisia Ticad Innovation 2022” and the start of the distribution of prizes for the First World Cup for Invention and Scientific Research, as well as the prizes for the Third Edition of the National Invention Competition after reviewing the most important inventions . The scientific presented in the industrialization initiative according to certain conditions and bases in the field of invention and scientific research.

In turn, Abdulaziz Al-Awdah, who obtained scientific patents for several inventions in the field of alternative and renewable energies, stated about his participation in the tournament by saying: (My participation in the Invention and Scientific Research Cup in Tunisia was a real and effective opportunity granted to me by Al-Wataniya Private University to represent my country Syria, before the world and to increase my scientific knowledge and apply it on the ground, as the experience opened wide doors for me to share ideas, information and experiences with participants from all other Arab countries  ) thus thanking Prof. Dr. Ahed Khuzam, President of Al-Watniya University, for his support and encouragement to him to continue his achievements and successes.

It should be noted that the student Abdulaziz Al-Awda is one of the pioneers in Syria in the field of alternative and renewable energies, as he has a rich record of inventions, including a smart automatic sterilization device, a shoe that generates electrical energy, a device for generating electrical energy from the movement of opening and closing doors, in addition to the invention of a device that converts sound noise into energy  Thus, he made a place for himself as the Director of Public Relations of the Syrian Society for Invention and Scientific Research in Syria, as a Member of the Syrian Inventors Association, and as an Inventor in the Global Authority for Invention in the United States of America  Everest.
