The Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Damascus University held the Fifth Exhibition in a row for students’ graduation and research projects for the year 2022 under the title “Together for Innovation and Building”, in which a number of universities, governmental and private scientific institutions, companies and supporting economic activities participated.

The student Reem Bassem Al-Mandeel and Rabea Kahwaji, representing Al-Wataniya Private University under the supervision of Dr. Ammar Rimawi, Vice Dean of the College of Engineering, and Dr. Thaer Daoud, Head of Communications Department, participated in the exhibition activities, where the exhibition contributed greatly to shedding light on distinguished scientific and academic projects and research, and trying to support the students in charge of them and push them towards pursuing their academic path and creating the conditions for them to experience and creativity by providing material assistance to complete their projects and advisory assistance such as training and professional advice.

The Opening Ceremony was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Communications and Technology, Representatives of some ministries and participating public and private universities, Sponsors, the Engineers Syndicate, Deans of some faculties at the university, and a Crowd of Professors and students, given that this exhibition is a real beginning by which the Ministry of Higher Education aspires to benefit from creative ideas and projects in production and investment operations, in various productive and service sectors in society.

It is worth mentioning that the participation of student Reem Bassem Al-Mandeel and student Rabie Kahwaji in this local exhibition at the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering – which will continue until Thursday  13\11\ 2022  – which  came as a result of hard work and a great determination from them to continue the approach of development and science, as they are among the  distinguished students that  have achieved success and high rates in their academic career at Al-Wataniya Private University, so the Exhibition will open up new horizons for success and excellence in front of them and all students.
