A Valuable Scientific Station for Students of The Departments of Computer and Communications Engineering from Al-Wataniya Private University
On Tuesday, 9/5/2023, students of the Computer and Communications Engineering Departments from the College of Engineering at Al-Wataniya Private University witnessed a scientific field trip to the Syrian Computer Society – Lattakia Branch – under the supervision of Dr. Tareq Alnasour Professor in the College of Engineering. Under the coordination and organization of the National Union of Syrian Students, the branch of the Al-Wataniya Private University.
In turn, the President of the Syrian Computer Society – Lattakia Branch – Eng. Maryam Fayoud hosted the fifth year students of the Faculty of Engineering on their scientific visit to learn about the activities of the Society in its various clubs and to see the most important trainings, competitions and projects related to information and communication technology that will increase their knowledge and practical experience and build a clear vision for them on the reality of the profession and its practical requirements and problems, the students present a certificate of thanks and appreciation to the presidency of the association for its good organization and hosting of the scientific visit.
On their scientific tour, the students went to Tishreen University in Lattakia Governorate, hosted by the Dean of the Faculty of Informatics Engineering, Dr. Ahmed Al-Ahmad, and Dr. Faeq Eiraj, Head of the Communications Department, to see the modern communications laboratory in the college and what it contains of equipment and devices, and to know the mechanism of its work, in addition to their visit to the communications laboratory in College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering- Tishreen University It was hosted by its dean, Dr. Michel Berbahan.
A scientific trip that aims to focus on the practical and applied side of students and support them in this context by organizing useful scientific trips to distinguished academic and scientific sites, as well as paying attention to the entertainment aspect, as it constitutes a motive for them to engage in these scientific activities and to know the reality of the profession in a tangible way.
