University Discipline, Regulation, and Study Burden
University Discipline: It is an arranged hour discipline distributed among study subjects.
Study Semesters: in the study year, there are two obligatory semesters (16 weeks each) and an optional semester (8 weeks).
Study Burden: The number of taken hours that students are allowed to register in one study term according to the following:
The minimum hours allowed to the students in the first and second semesters are 12 hours and the maximum are 18 hours (25 hours in the medical faculties) while the Summer semester is 2 hours minimum and 9. maximum
Exceptions:
Graduating students are allowed in the final semester or when their average is 3 or less to register 21 hours in the normal term or 12 hours in the summer term.
