تأثير إجهاد الامتحان على المستويات الدموية لكل من: الكورتيزول، الغلوكوز، والكوليسترول لدى طلاب الصيدلة

الاجهاد هو التوترات الجسدية والعقلية والعاطفية التي يتعرض لها الشخص. يعد الامتحان عامل مجهد للطلاب، وقد يؤدي إلى تغيرات في معالم الدم الحيوية. لذا هدفت هذه الدراسة الى تقصي المستويات الدموية لكل من الكورتيزول والغلوكوز والكوليسترول لدى الطلاب عند خضوعهم للامتحان. تم قياس مستويات المعالم الثلاثة في الدم لدى 30 طالب صيدلة في الجامعة الوطنية الخاصة. تم سحب عينات الدم على مرحلتين: قبل أسبوعين من الامتحانات وأثناء الامتحانات.
أظهرت النتائج ارتفاعاً معنوياً (P<0.05) في مستوى كل من الغلوكوز والكورتيزول والكوليسترول أثناء الامتحان مقارنة بفترة ما قبل الامتحان لدى جميع الطلاب وكلا الجنسين. كما تبين أن مستوى الكورتيزول قد ارتفع بشكل معنوي لدى الإناث خلال فترة الامتحان مقارنة بما قبل الامتحان بينما لم يكن الارتفاع ملحوظاً بين الذكور، مما قد يشير الى أن الذكور يتفاعلون مع الاجهاد بشكل مضبوط أكثر من الاناث. تقترح هذه النتائج أن الاجهاد الذي يتعرض له الطلاب خلال الامتحان يؤدي إلى تغيرات في معالم الدم مما قد يؤدي الى الإصابة بالأمراض الاستقلابية.
