دراسة إحصائية لانتشار متلازمة الألم العضلي الليفي وتشخيصها في المجتمع السوري

متلازمة الألم العضلي الليفي هي اضطراب عضلي هيكلي يسبب ألماً مزمناً وتشنجات في العضلات والأنسجة الضامة المحيطة بها. غالباً ما يكون الألم واسع الانتشار ويصاحبه إرهاق شديد واضطرابات في النوم والذاكرة والحالة المزاجية. هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تقييم معدل انتشار الفيبروميالجيا وتشخيصها في المجتمع السوري من خلال تحليل إحصائي شمل 452 مشاركًا من مختلف الفئات العمرية والجنسين، باستخدام أدوات التشخيص المعتمدة من الكلية الأمريكية لأمراض الروماتيزم. أظهرت النتائج أن معدل انتشار الفيبروميالجيا بلغ 17.5%، مع وجود نسبة إصابة أعلى بين النساء (19.0%) مقارنة بالرجال (14.2%)، إلا أن الفرق لم يكن ذا دلالة إحصائية. كما تبين أن شدة الأعراض تزداد مع التقدم في العمر، حيث سجلت الفئة الأكبر من 50 سنة أعلى معدلات الألم، وظهر ارتباط قوي بين مؤشر الألم المنتشر (WPI) وشدة الأعراض المصاحبة (SSS). إضافة إلى ذلك، لوحظ أن الأشخاص غير العاملين كانوا أكثر عرضة للإصابة مقارنة بالعاملين، مما يشير إلى دور العوامل الاجتماعية والنشاط البدني في التأثير على المرض. تؤكد هذه النتائج الحاجة إلى تعزيز الوعي المجتمعي والطبي حول الفيبروميالجيا، وتطوير استراتيجيات تشخيصية وعلاجية شاملة تراعي الجوانب النفسية والاجتماعية إلى جانب الجوانب الطبية، مع التركيز على أهمية النشاط البدني والدعم النفسي لتحسين جودة حياة المرضى.
