Counterfeit Drugs
Abstract :
The lecture talked about the definition of counterfeit medicines according to the World Health Organization, in addition to the extent of the spread of this phenomenon according to official statistics and announced numbers. The reasons that led to the spread of this phenomenon were also mentioned and a review of the pharmaceutical reality that we are proud of in our beloved country.
The risks resulting from the spread of counterfeit medicines were also explained, as there are many health risks, as well as economic risks that affect the national economy. Finally, methods of preventing counterfeit medicines were discussed, and recommendations were made to reduce this phenomenon at the global level.
