Under the generous patronage of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Governorate of Hama, the Applied College at Hama University organizes the First International Engineering Conference on Artificial Intelligence–Supported Education — “Visions, Reality, and Aspirations” — along with its accompanying specialized exhibition, to be held from April 26 to 28, 2026, in the Abu Al-Fida Auditorium — Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

The conference is patronized by Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim Qalb Al-Louz, President of Hama University, and chaired by Dr. Ahmad Kurdi, Dean of the Applied College — affirming Hama University’s continuous commitment to keeping pace with scientific advancements and encouraging academic initiatives that contribute to enhancing the educational process, fostering innovation, building the capacities of students and researchers, and reflecting a deep conviction in the necessity of a qualitative transformation in education — one that keeps pace with the rapid developments in artificial intelligence technologies, not merely as technical tools, but as cognitive and methodological levers capable of reshaping the educational process, improving the quality of its outputs, and aligning them with the requirements of development and the labor market.

The Applied College at Hama University hosts a distinguished group of researchers and guest lecturers from various Syrian universities and abroad to participate scientifically in the First International Engineering Conference on Artificial Intelligence–Supported Education — a global academic platform for exchanging expertise, presenting the latest trends, and discussing the challenges and opportunities associated with employing artificial intelligence in higher education.

Al-Wataniya Private University participates in the conference activities as a Silver Sponsor, alongside its distinguished academic presence through a select group of researcher-faculty members who contribute to specialized scientific sessions addressing topics related to artificial intelligence. Additionally, the university participates in the accompanying specialized exhibition, which showcases the latest innovations in the fields of information engineering, technical engineering, and applied sciences.
