الملخص

تعتبر الأشعة فوق البنفسجية (UV) المسبب الرئيسي لتلف الجلد والشيخوخة المبكرة وسرطان الجلد. ونظرًا لمخاوف السلامة المتعلقة بواقيات الشمس الاصطناعية، زاد الاهتمام بالمكونات النباتية الطبيعية كبدائل آمنة للواقيات الشمسية الكيميائية.

نبات البقلة (Portulaca oleracea) معروف بغناه بمركبات الفينولات والفلافونويدات، والتي تمتلك خصائص ممتازة لامتصاص الأشعة فوق البنفسجية.

قيّمت هذه الدراسة مستخلصات أوراق وأغصان البقلة (المائية والإيتانولية) عبر مطيافية الأشعة فوق البنفسجية (200-400 نانومتر). حُسبت قيم عامل الحماية من الشمس (SPF) باستخدام معادلة مرجعية. أظهر مستخلص الأوراق الإيتانولي أعلى عامل حماية من الشمس (40)، يليه مستخلص الأوراق المائي (SPF = 30). أظهرت مستخلصات الأغصان نشاطًا أقل، ولكنه جيد أيضًا (الإيتانولي: SPF = 20؛ المائي: SPF = 12).

تُبرز النتائج قدرة البقلة كمكون طبيعي للوقاية من أشعة الشمس، وخاصةً في مستخلصات الأوراق الإيتانولية. يمكن أن توفر التركيبات المحسنة حماية أكثر أمانًا وتآزرًا من الأشعة فوق البنفسجية مقارنة بالمرشحات الكيميائية
