In an effort to continue the path of success and excellence, Al-Wataniya Private University in Hama celebrated the graduation of the eighth constellation of students from the university’s faculties (Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning, Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences) in a distinguished graduation ceremony at the level of Syrian private universities, which was held on Friday  On 9/23/2022, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Bassam Bashir Ibrahim, and in the official presence of political, religious and scientific figures.

The program of the ceremony started with the Orchidia Artistic Troupe presenting a distinguished theatrical performance that drew attention in a visual panel in which the features of beauty and creativity met.  The event is what brings us together with you, my fellow students, the road ahead of you will not end.” He congratulated the new graduates for reaping the fruits of their labor for years and wished them the best wishes and congratulations.

“The real distinction of any society is the knowledge of its children and its people.”

 Prof. Dr. Ahed Khuzam congratulated the graduates and their families, expressing his pride in what the students have accomplished by saying: “In our ceremony today, we are looking forward to deep knowledge and scientific contents besides joy and rejoicing, as the graduate has moved from an important stage to a more important stage through which serious and fruitful work will begin and will open  In front of him are the doors of learning and acquiring experiences in the path of his profession, so the real and actual distinction of any society comes with the knowledge of its children and its people.

He thanked for this the efforts made by the official supporters of the graduation ceremony (Mr. Basil Al-Sarraj, director of the Arab Bank – Syria – Hama branch, Mrs. Ruba Al-Mimar, chairman of the board of directors of Ruba Al-Mimar Dental Equipment Company, Mr. Nabil Tayfour – director of Al-Baraka Bank – Syria – Hama branch, and Mr. Ghassan Eng.  Sabbagh Shirazi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Ahliah Co. For Transport.

For his part, His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Bassam Bashir Ibrahim, expressed his pride in graduating Al-Wataniya Private University – one of the important scientific edifices – for the eighth batch of its students, congratulating the students for their graduation and their excellence and their quest to continue their educational attainment in the future ,and he added, “What we have seen today makes us happy and makes us hope that we will return to graduates due to the high-level organization, preparation and preparation by Al-Wataniya Private University.” In turn, he thanked the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ahd Khuzam, for his efforts to raise the value of science and scientific research at the level of private universities, as this real interest raises the ranking and classification of our universities and their websites at the regional and global levels.

The Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Bassam Ibrahim, also praised the remarkable development witnessed by Al-Wataniya Private University since its establishment in 2007 until today in terms of construction, such as buildings and laboratories, the practical development in quality and reliability work, and the plans drawn up by the university presidency every year to build students’ scientific and professional capabilities, he concluded his speech: “It is a blessed day for us to celebrate together the graduation of this constellation despite the circumstances of the war and the economic blockade, and all of that came as a result of diligence and perseverance, and we do not forget the most important role, which is caring of parents.”

The faculties at Al-Wataniya Private University celebrated 357 male and female students in a majestic procession filled with joy and joy to represent the graduates of Al-Wataniya Private University for the academic year 2021-2022. The number of graduates was distributed according to the following order (183 graduates from the Faculty of Dentistry, 62 graduates from the Faculty of Engineering, 56 graduates).  From the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences, 56 graduates from the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning) to qualify the students to engage in the labor market and to harvest a fruitful planting of previous years.

Al-Wataniya Private University, represented by Prof. Dr. Ahed Khuzam, President of Al-Wataniya Private University, along with Dr. Hazem Melli, Vice President for Scientific Affairs, and Professor Samir Al-Barazi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Wataniya Private Company for Science and Development, honored His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Bassam Bashir Ibrahim and all the able official and scientific authorities  awards and certificates of honor , thankful for the great interest and efforts exerted by them to develop and raise the scientific level in all Syrian universities, which Al-Wataniya Private University is pleased with its graduate students.

A short film was also shown about the success stories witnessed by Al-Wataniya Private University since its first year of establishment until the academic year 2021-2022, which summarized the journey of a diverse group of Al-Wataniya Private University students and their successes in international scientific forums and most of their achievements at the scientific and research level, The distinguished graduate, Reem Bassem Al-Mandeel, gave a speech in which she thanked  Al-Wataniya Private University for the support, facilities and knowledge it provided to the students, which was the reason for their success,to be  a beacon illuminates the students’ path and fresh graduates.

Before the announcement of the graduation of the eighth batch of Al-Wataniya Private University students, the graduates were honored with certificates of appreciation by the Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Bassam Ibrahim, with  Al-Wataniya Private University represented by its president, Dr. Ahed Khuzam, Mr. Samir Al-Barazi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Wataniya Company for Science and Development, Deans of Faculties and Abdulkarim Al-Naasan  President of Al-Wataniya Private University branch of the National Union of Syrian Students, considering that their graduation is a qualitative leap witnessed by  Al-Wataniya Private University in graduating a batch characterized by quality and distinction.

To support the talents of students and push them towards brilliance,, Al-Wataniya Private University witnessed the first promising debut of Al-Wataniya Private University’s musical ensemble (University Choir) under the leadership of Maestro Mr. Rami Darwish,which presented the attendees with three musical pieces, which the band started with the university’s national anthem, so that the audience interacted with them in an atmosphere of intimacy and joy.

As for the conclusion of the program of the ceremony, the star artist “Rabie Al-Asmar” celebrated the graduation ceremony of the eighth batch for the students of Al-Wataniya Private University, with a special hosting from it, to share with the students the joy of graduation in a fun interactive atmosphere full of joy and pleasure.

A glorious graduation ceremony, which witnessed the alumni’s march, which was crowned with joy and was marked by happiness, as the mothers and the attending guests sang ululating joy, to celebrate the graduation of the students of Al-Wataniya Private University and their launch to the labor market at a steady pace and with more challenge, desire and insistence on excellence and success.
