دراسة تأثير هرمون النمو في مستويات الكرياتينين والوزن لدى الأرانب: دراسة أولية

نظرًا لارتفاع معدلات إساءة استخدام هرمون النمو (GH) بشكل غير مسؤول في المجال الرياضي بهدف زيادة الكتلة العضلية وتحسين الأداء، أصبح من الضروري دراسة آثاره الجانبية المحتملة، ولا سيما في وظيفة الكلى التي قد تتأثر بهذه الممارسات. هدفت هذه الدراسة الأولية إلى تقييم تأثير إعطاء هرمون النمو في وزن الجسم ومستويات الكرياتينين في البلازما لدى ذكور الأرانب البالغة. تم تقسيم ستة عشر أرنبًا ذكرًا، بعمر 7 أشهر وبمتوسط وزن 2 kg، إلى مجموعتين متساويتين (n=8): مجموعة شاهدة غير معالجة، ومجموعة معالجة حُقنت تحت الجلد بهرمون النمو بجرعة 16 IU يوميًا لمدة 10 أيام. بعد انتهاء المعالجة، سُحبت عينات الدم من القلب، وفُصلت البلازما، ثم قِيست مستويات الكرياتينين. أظهرت النتائج ارتفاعًا معنويًا في مستوى الكرياتينين لدى مجموعة هرمون النمو مقارنة بالمجموعة الشاهدة (4.93 ± 0.27 mg/dL مقابل 2.05 ± 0.17 mg/dL، p<0.05). كما لوحظت زيادة واضحة وذات دلالة إحصائية في أوزان الأرانب المعالجة بعد الحقن مقارنة بما قبل الحقن: 2.7±0.35 kg مقابل 1.91±0.22 kg (p<0.05). ويعكس ذلك التأثير البنائي القوي لهرمون النمو، ولا سيما عند استخدام جرعات عالية، إذ ارتبط بزيادة معنوية في الوزن وتغيرات وظيفية كلوية محتملة تتجاوز مجرد زيادة الكتلة العضلية، مما يستدعي مراقبة صارمة للمؤشرات الكلوية أثناء استخدامه.
