Professor Dr. Walid Sahyouni, advisor to the Quality and Accreditation Office at Al-Wataniya Private University, participated on Saturday, February 14, 2026, in the Advisory Board meeting of the Arab Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, as an expert member of the board and representative of the Syrian Arab Republic.
On Thursday, December 18, 2025, the Faculty of Architectural Engineering and Urban Planning organized an introductory meeting specifically for first-year students entering the faculty for the academic year 2025-2026. Professor Dr. Safwat Ibrahim Pasha, Dean of the Faculty of Architectural Engineering and Urban Planning, met with the new students to introduce them to the field of architecture and the path of the upcoming educational phase as they begin their academic journey.
The Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning at Al-Wataniya Private University, under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr. Safwat Ibrahim Pasha, participated in a specialized workshop entitled “Topographies of Memory,” which was organized by the British University of Oxford in cooperation with Homs University, Hama University, and Al-Wataniya Private University. The activities of the workshop continued for 11 days, from December 10 to December 21, 2025.
As part of its continuous efforts to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical experience, the laboratories of the Faculty of Dentistry at Al-Wataniya Private University witnessed the launch of a practical workshop in the field of Endodontics. This event took place during the “Scientific Week of Endodontics,” organized in cooperation between the Faculty of Dentistry and Baram & Al-Hamad Company, aiming to elevate the clinical practice standards of students and train them on the latest global therapeutic techniques.
Driven by its responsibility to elevate the scientific and professional standards of dentistry students, the Faculty of Dentistry at Al-Wataniya Private University, in cooperation with the Baram & Al-Hamad Company, launched the “Scientific Week in Endodontics” on Sunday, January 11, 2026. This initiative aims to keep pace with the latest dental technologies and employ modern medical sciences and expertise to serve humanity and society.
The Faculty of Dentistry at Al-Wataniya Private University, in cooperation with Baram & Al-Hamad Company, held a workshop on Saturday, January 10, 2025, titled ” Invention and Development Science ” The workshop was conducted by Prof. Dr. Jihad Abu Nassar, Director of the Patent Office at Damascus University and a local and international patent arbitrator.
