Al-Wataniya Private University Hosts Al-Hikma School Students on a Scientific Visit To Introduce Them to University Majors

As part of its commitment to enhancing academic communication and raising educational standards, Al-Wataniya Private University hosted on Monday, 15 December 2025, high school students from Al-Hikma School in Homs Governorate. The purpose of this scientific visit was to acquaint the students closely with the university and to provide a detailed explanation of the academic majors available across its various faculties, helping them make their crucial future academic decisions.
This qualitative visit was part of a series of pioneering introductory programs falling under the “Protocol Memorandum” of the development program between Al-Wataniya Private University and the Ministry of Education. The students were accompanied from the school by Mr. Saher Al-Droubi (Mathematics teacher) and Miss Niroz Diab (Social Studies and Philosophy teacher).
The tour began with a visit to the central library, where the students reviewed key references, scientific books, and technical learning aids. After that, the students proceeded to the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning to view the model exhibition. The dean of the faculty, Dr. Safwat Ibrahim Pasha, provided a comprehensive explanation of the fundamental fields of architecture such as freehand drawing, light and shadow, projection, and the skills required to excel in this field.
The delegation continued its exploratory tour to the dental clinics, where the students were able to see the clinics and where Dr. Malik Al-Asaad, Director of the Clinics Building, gave a detailed explanation of the latest equipment and medical instruments used in clinical procedures. Then the students were introduced to the new building of the Faculty of Pharmacy in the presence of the dean of the faculty, Dr. Shuayb Al-Ahmad, learning about the practical laboratories equipped for conducting scientific research and pharmaceutical preparations.
