A Comprehensive Tour of Warehouse and Production Departments

During their tour, pharmacy students explored various warehouse departments, starting from the quarantine and rejection areas to the storage warehouses for raw materials, packaging materials, finished products, and hazardous materials. The visit also included specialized production lines, such as:

  1. Nasal Sprays Department: Where students learned about the preparation, filling, in-process control, and labeling rooms.
  2. Tablets and Capsules Department: Where they observed the manufacturing stages from preparation to final cartoning.

The scientific trip concluded with a visit to the specialized laboratories at United Factory, which are the fundamental pillar for ensuring drug quality. These included the Research and Development (R&D) lab, the stability and sample retention lab, the physical and chemical control labs, and the microbiological lab.
