Al-Wataniya Private University – Hama

As part of enhancing academic cooperation between academic institutions, the Faculty of Engineering at Al-Wataniya Private University hosted a scientific visit for students from the Computer Technologies Department at the Applied College in Hama on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. The visit aimed to connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications and allow students to view the latest technologies and laboratories.
The delegation from the Applied College in Hama was led by the College Dean, Dr. Ahmad Kurdi, his Deputy, Dr. Moumena Faour, and Dr. Nasr Al-Qasim, Head of the Electrical Feeding Department for Industrial Facilities and Cities.
The visit commenced with a warm welcome and reception by Dr. Hazem Milli, Vice President of Al-Wataniya Private University for Scientific Affairs. Dr. Milli emphasized the University’s vision and strategic plans that seek to support excellence and innovation, stressing the necessity of shaping the distinguished student’s character.

The visit included an introductory session presented by Dr. Ahmad Kurdi, Dean of the Applied College in Hama and a faculty member at the University’s Faculty of Engineering. Dr. Kurdi detailed the departments of the Faculty of Engineering at Al-Wataniya Private University: the Informatics Engineering Department and the Communications Engineering Department.

The scientific visit concluded with an important and practical tour for the students through the modern practical laboratories of both the Communications Engineering and Informatics Engineering faculties. This tour allowed the students to directly familiarize themselves with the most crucial modern equipment and practical technologies used in training, thereby enhancing their practical understanding of Computer Technologies and Engineering specializations.
