In a step that embodies its leadership in supporting the scientific and academic landscape, and driven by the belief in the necessity of staying abreast of all new developments in dental sciences and employing modern medical expertise to serve humanity and society, Al-Wataniya Private University (WPU), in cooperation with Baram & Al-Hamad Company, is organizing a series of specialized scientific events in the field of dentistry. Taking place from January 10 to 15, 2025, these events serve as an interactive platform merging theoretical knowledge with practical expertise.

Scientific Activities Aiming for Development and Student Community Service

The dentistry events are based on a clear future vision aimed at shaping the future of dental medicine by integrating research methodology with innovation. They seek to elevate the scientific and practical standards of dental students and faculty members by keeping pace with global advancements, targeting the following objectives:

1. Promoting a culture of invention by transitioning from knowledge consumption to innovation and development.
2. Enhancing practical efficiency by enabling participants to master the latest endodontic treatment techniques through intensive hands-on training.
3. Attracting experts and specialists to benefit from advanced clinical skills and medical expertise.
4. Providing a scientific environment that allows students to develop practical skills and encourages excellence and creativity.
5. Supporting scientific research by equipping researchers with the necessary tools and knowledge to publish their work in prestigious scientific journals, emphasizing its role in community service, development, and reconstruction.
6. Building knowledge bridges between the student community and external scientific channels to facilitate the exchange of science and expertise.
7. Establishing strategic collaborative partnerships between the university and major specialized companies, such as Baram & Al-Hamad Company.

Diverse Scientific Milestones in Dentistry

The activities will kick off with a specialized workshop titled ” Invention and Development Science ” focusing on creative thinking mechanisms in the medical field and how to transform ideas into tangible inventions that contribute to the profession’s future.

The second milestone is the “Scientific Week in Endodontics” characterized by its rich scientific content and the participation of prominent academic figures from both within and outside the university. This week features a series of specialized lectures discussing the latest technologies, tools, and applied skills in endodontics. Additionally, intensive training workshops will be held in the Faculty of Dentistry laboratories, offering students a real opportunity to develop clinical skills and apply medical knowledge under the supervision of elite specialists.

These scientific days, marked by intellectual richness and diversity, will conclude with a practical workshop titled “Mechanisms and Methods of International Publishing and Scientific Research.” This session paves the way for students to engage in the field of scientific research and master the tools needed to serve their society and country.
