Digital Innovation: From Digitization to Comprehensive Transformation

The first session was opened by Dr. Zeinab Kadi, who focused on the fact that digital innovation has become an inevitable necessity and not a complementary option for the continuity of companies in light of accelerating competition and changing customer expectations. This segment was distinguished by differentiating between the concepts of “digitization” and “comprehensive digital transformation.”

For her part, Dr. Sahar Al-Aswad touched on the philosophy of entrepreneurship, emphasizing the value of unconventional solutions and calculated risk-taking, and reviewed the classifications of entrepreneurship (corporate, social, and digital) and the characteristics necessary for contemporary entrepreneurs.

From Theory to Application: Successful Real-World Models

The workshop approached the practical side through a theme presented by Dr. Joseph Moussa and Dr. Ward Kojak, where they highlighted the world of digital entrepreneurship, explaining the reasons for the global trend towards it, such as time flexibility and lower costs. Dr. Moussa focused on the structural aspects and stages of establishing digital projects, while Dr. Kojak presented a practical roadmap supported by real success models from within Al-Wataniya Private University and at the Syrian level.

Leadership and Marketing in the Digital Age

The second session discussed the concept of digital leadership, where Dr. Mudar Ali presented a vision on the attributes of the contemporary leader, emphasizing the role of emotional intelligence and transparency in empowering teams and understanding customer psychology.

Dr. Suleiman Awad also explained how to manage virtual teams, comparing traditional management with online management, and reviewing the challenges and advantages of remote work and the requirements for effective leadership in this field.

Digital Consumer Behavior: The Last Key to Success

The workshop concluded with a scientific paper presented by Dr. Riham Moalla on digital consumer behavior, as the main driver of the market. She stressed that understanding purchasing motives and analyzing behavioral data is the most important tool for persuading the customer and achieving their satisfaction in the crowded digital environment.

Concluding Recommendations

The workshop concluded with recommendations that emphasized the need for continuous integration between technological tools and human and leadership skills. This event is a strategic link between academia and the requirements of the digital labor market, which enhances the role of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Finance and Al-Wataniya Private University in developing students’ skills and preparing them to engage in digital entrepreneurship.
