“Discussion of Graduation Projects for Students of the Faculty of Architectural Engineering and Urban Planning – Academic Year 2024/2025”

The Faculty of Architectural Engineering and Urban Planning at Al-Wataniya Private University held its First Semester 2024/2025 Graduation Projects Defense from Saturday, 22 February 2025, to 25 February 2025. The event was supervised by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Safwat Ibrahim Pasha, and attended by the university leadership, represented by Prof. Dr. Ahd Khazzam, President of Al-Wataniya Private University, and her Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Hazem Malli.

Students presented visual displays of their architectural projects, which ranged from post-war reconstruction proposals to innovative designs across various sectors—service facilities, healthcare, heritage preservation, cultural spaces, economic hubs, and social infrastructure. All projects aligned with the goal of serving the local community by integrating modern design technologies, sustainable practices, and renewable energy solutions to develop distinctive architectural solutions.

To enrich their knowledge and enhance practical skills, students defended their projects before expert evaluation committees, composed of:

Graduation projects mark the students’ first professional milestone, equipping them with diverse knowledge and cutting-edge skills to enter the architectural field. These projects foster creative, innovative ideas capable of advancing urban development, improving infrastructure, and enhancing community services.
