The presidency of Al-Wataniya Private University, represented by Professor Ahed Khuzam, President of the University, and Dr. Hazem Milli, his deputy for scientific affairs, held regular meetings with members of the teaching (instructional and technical) staff and members of the administrative staff in the Faculties of Dentistry, Architecture and Urban Planning, in cooperation with Dr. Tarek Abou Ajwa, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, and Professor Safwat Ibrahim Pasha, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning.

The meeting aimed to open direct communication channels between the university presidency and its educational and administrative staff to discuss scientific and administrative issues related to the affairs of students and employees at the university, in a step towards submitting development proposals for work policies and university regulations in force.

Professor Ahed Khuzam, President of Al-Wataniya Private University, stressed the importance of the involvement of members of the teaching staff in scientific research, given the great support provided by the university presidency to researchers from professors and students alike, pointing to the importance of scientific research in improving the level of Al-Wataniya Private University and exporting quality scientific research that serves society and enhances the scientific and professional record of the researcher in the future.

Dr. Hazem Milli pointed out the necessity of involving students in the field of scientific research through joint scientific research with faculty members, believing in the university’s plans to graduate distinguished scientific competencies capable of bringing about change and development.

On another note, the deans of the colleges and the university presidency discussed the necessity of faculty and administrative staff adhering to examination instructions and regulations and the monitoring system to ensure the examination process runs optimally. The meeting also emphasized the importance of students’ commitment to attending theoretical and practical sessions of course subjects in order to achieve the optimal scientific benefit for the student.

These fruitful meetings, through which the presidency of Al-Wataniya Private University and the deanships of the colleges seek to establish the values of cooperation and effective dialogue in order to develop work and improve scientific outputs, which would improve the quality of education at Al-Wataniya Private University
