 Al-Wataniya Private University – Hama

February 16, 2026

The Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Wataniya Private University held an internship event on Monday, February 16, 2026, as part of the practical application of the internship course, which represents an important step in the students’ path to entering the labor market and acquiring the practical skills that qualify them professionally to enter the world of pharmacy.

The event was launched under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Shoeb Al-Ahmad, and with the presence of members of the Pharmacists Syndicate – Hama Branch (Dr. Khaled Al-Dan, Dr. Rana Kazkaz, Dr. Talla Al-Mulqi). The event assessed the students’ ability to answer questions related to the trade names of medicines and their scientific compositions, their ability to recognize the different pharmaceutical forms of the same drug composition, and the principles of dealing with patients and pharmacists alike.

The internship event is the culmination of many stages of continuous training, during which students trained in pharmacies on preparing pharmaceutical preparations, prescribing appropriate medications for various medical conditions, and how to deal with patients and read prescriptions, in addition to the many skills that a distinguished pharmacist must possess and apply in practice.

A valuable scientific event through which the University’s presidency and the Deanship of the Faculty of Pharmacy seek to provide all possible tools and scientific support to improve the students’ scientific and professional level, and in their belief in the necessity of graduating qualified pharmacists capable of engaging in the professional reality, advancing it, and developing it.
