The Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning organized a scientific visit to Old Homs City in cooperation with Our Heritage Foundation on Thursday, 9 April 2026, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ahed Khuzam, President of Al-Wataniya Private University, and Prof. Dr. Safwat Ibrahim Pasha, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning, with the participation of 120 undergraduate students enrolled in the course Architectural Design VII.

Child Care Association Hosts Down Syndrome Youth Handicraft Exhibition Exclusively hosted by Al-Wataniya Private University
Al-Wataniya Private University hosted the Down Syndrome Youth Handicraft Exhibition, organized by the Child Care Association of Homs Governorate, held at the university’s Central Library over Monday and Tuesday, April 20–21, 2026. The exhibition was supervised by Ms. Sahar Al-Akhras — Founder of the Down Centers for Education and Vocational Training — and featured active participation from the Down Centers’ management team (Dr. Najwa Abbarah, Mr. Tawfiq Tilimat), alongside several supervisors overseeing the vocational works of youth and young women with Down Syndrome.

From Al-Wataniya Private University, Professor Dr. Walid Sahyouni — Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center at Homs University and Advisor to the Presidency of Al-Wataniya Private University for Quality and Accreditation Affairs — participated in the Arab Network Advisory Council meeting via Zoom. He attended in his capacity as (Member of the Arab Network for Quality in Higher Education Advisory Council, representing the Syrian Arab Republic; and Member of the Syrian National Authority for Quality and Accreditation Board of Commissioners )
Qualitative Workshop on the Principles and Methodologies in Scientific Research and International Publication in Medical Sciences
The Faculty of Dentistry at Al-Wataniya Private University, in cooperation with Baram & Al-Hamad Company, organized a qualitative workshop titled
” Principles and Methodologies in Scientific Research and International Publication in Medical Sciences .” The workshop was presented by Professor Dr. Mohammed Younis Hajeer, Professor and Head of the Department of Orthodontics at Damascus University. This comes as part of the university’s continuous pursuit to spread the concept of scientific research and enhance the knowledge of students, administrative, and educational staff regarding the latest methods and mechanisms adopted in scientific research and external publishing in prestigious scientific journals.
Advanced Training Workshops in Endodontics Within the Laboratories of the Faculty of Dentistry
As part of its continuous efforts to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical experience, the laboratories of the Faculty of Dentistry at Al-Wataniya Private University witnessed the launch of a practical workshop in the field of Endodontics. This event took place during the “Scientific Week of Endodontics,” organized in cooperation between the Faculty of Dentistry and Baram & Al-Hamad Company, aiming to elevate the clinical practice standards of students and train them on the latest global therapeutic techniques.

Driven by its responsibility to elevate the scientific and professional standards of dentistry students, the Faculty of Dentistry at Al-Wataniya Private University, in cooperation with the Baram & Al-Hamad Company, launched the “Scientific Week in Endodontics” on Sunday, January 11, 2026. This initiative aims to keep pace with the latest dental technologies and employ modern medical sciences and expertise to serve humanity and society.
